Why did you decide to rescue?
I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and was always amazed at how perfect each shelter dog was but each bypassed by potential dog buyers. I felt passionate about assisting organizations that put so much support in rescues.
Please tell us your story with rescuing.
I rescued my youngest Henry from DFWPugrescue in November 2013. I personally rescued my oldest pug from the streets. She was emaciated (before/after pic are on my ig account). Grace is extremely attached to me and struggles with any separation to the point that it takes me by surprise a lot. Both are very close to each other!
What was your biggest fear with rescuing and how did this fear play out once all was said and done?
I didn't really have any fears although I did wonder if a rescue would be as connected to me as another dog. I was totally wrong about that :)
Would you rescue again?
ONLY rescue for me forever.
What would you say the most positive part of rescuing is?
To rescue a life. And I'm a firm believer that rescues know they're rescued. That is priceless.
